I’m printing my own invites and after they come out of the printer they are slightly curved.
I was wondering how I could get them to lay flat again. I’ve been bending some the opposite way by hand, but sometimes they get little dents in them. I’ve also tried putting the paper between 2 heavy books to flatten it out but it’s not working. I know it may sound stupid, but could I iron the paper flat again?

Iron them! Place a tea towel over the paper, and iron on low. I iron paper all the time for crafts and such! It works great! Just make sure that you don’t use any water, or steam. Good luck!

Thanks! I’m going to try this later, but from what I’ve google’d as well it sounds like it would work!

I put mine under all the bridal books/magazines I have been given over the last few months – works a treat 🙂
If you’re having to stick them to card, try opting for double sided tape instead of glue. I used glue on our STD’s and struggled…double sided tape is awesome!

that happened to me after i glued the inserts to the colored backing for my invites. I opened a huge encyclopedia book and stuck it in between the pages, then shut the book and placed two more books on top. I left it there for about a week, then rescued it. Flat as new. Maybe you didnt leave it between the books long enough?
