I have had the implant for 2 years and 11 months, but had it removed today, so my husband and I can try for a baby (well not trying, but not preventing).
I am just wondering if anyone on here has had the implant and then ttc after removal.
How long did it take you to fall pregnant? Was everything OK?

Ok, I will tell you my story but its not the best (yet, anyway). I had my Implanon for the full 3 years. I got it removed December 2011, and didn’t get a period until that February. The good news is I got pregnant that first cycle (got my BFP on March 21), but the bad news is it ended up being ectopic. We weren’t really ttc at the time, I was just letting my body regulate. We started officially ttc in July and I still haven’t gotten my BFP but I’m very hopeful! I have started charting so I know I am ovulating normally. Don’t be alarmed if you don’t have a period for a while because that’s perfectly normal, and you could get pregnant right away because once you get the Implanon removed, the hormones are out of your system within a few days. Good luck to you!

Thank you xx
I got told by the nurse that I as soon as it is out, I would be no longer protected and that the hormones will be out of my body within 24 hours x
Any other stories? x
