What are you wearing to get ready the day of? Are you having all your bridesmaids wearing something similiar? I’m out of money to spend on my bridesmaids but I want to make sure the pics are cute for getting ready is it mean/ rude to ask them to wear something cute? I was thinking of buying a Bride tank top for my self then maybe requesting that they also wear similiar tank tops of the same color maybe pink? I would love to do robes or something like that but I’m not spending anymore…

I wore my Mrs. Spa robe…haha jumped the gun there. I got all my bridesmaids spa robes for our spa day, different girls wore them at different times throughout the weekend. There was no matchy matchy group shot 😛 So my gals wore whatever they wanted getting ready.
I don’t know if it’s rude, but maybe might come off as trying too hard. I’m pretty sure my ladies would have worn a trash bag if I had asked them nicely. It just wasn’t on my priority list 🙂

Honestly, no one will care what you wear to get ready in. On my wedding day, all my bridesmaids just wore whatever (shirts that were easy to get off, like button ups) and I wore my most confortable stuff. My favorite yoga pants with holes in them, my most comfy, holey undies with the elastic coming off from so much wear and tear (actually wore them all wedding day…haha) and a button up flannel shirt. Just be comfy. Seriously.

@Orchd12: carefull of tank tops. once you have your hair and makeup done, you might have to cut off the tank top to avoid messing anything up.
what about requesting everyone bring a cute button down shirt. or go to walmart or target.
For $10, you can wear a white one, and they can wear a color.

@Orchd12: i think i’m just going to point out to the girls that the photographers will be at the salon with us for the last couple of hours. they’ll take the hint. i have no idea what i’m going to wear yet, but it’ll probably be jeans and a cute button-down, since it’ll be october — and i want something i don’t have to pull off over my head later. very practical. haha

I’ll be wearing yoga pants and some comfy button down shirt (I should work on getting that!). I’m not telling my girls anything about what to wear. They can wear whatever they want.

I am wearing yoga pants, white tank top (that I can take off by going down over my hips) and my white “Bride” robe from VS. I didn’t request my bridesmaids to wear anything special.

I will probably wear a dress I can slip out of, or else pants and button-down top. I want to be comfortable, but still look nice. 🙂
