Some members of our bridal party will be staying at our venue with us the night before and we are all getting ready there the day of the wedding. There is a full kitchen but I prefer to keep the actual cooking to a minimum (I don’t want to clean up, lol).
What are some easy ideas for breakfast and lunch that day? I’m thinking of doing a Costco run the day before. So far I’m thinking: those big muffins, juice, coffee, fruit, maybe bagels and cream cheese for breakfast. Sandwich stuff for lunch? Do I need snacks too? The ceremony isn’t till 4 and dinner is at 6. What are you eating while you get ready? I wanna make sure everyone is well fed. I keep hearing you forget to eat that day.

I think your breakfast ideas are great. Muffins, bagels, fresh fruit. How about croissants? Or if you want extra protein, egg sandwiches require very minimal cooking. Sandwich stuff sounds like a good, easy lunch option.
I would have a few simple snacks on hand. Maybe some yogurts, granola bars, trail mix, that kind of stuff. For a slightly more indulgent treat, how about chocolate covered strawberries? I’m thinking we might bring some of those to the salon when we get our hair and makeup done. And if you drink at all, don’t forget the mimosas! 🙂

Ooh mimosas! I planned on champagne for getting ready but forgot about those! Thanks!

Small bite sized things are best we found. People liked mini muffins and the mini bagels we had out along with precut fruit. That way we could eat little bits between make up and hair.
My mom made the mini muffins (healthy!) and some mini muffin tin frittatas. People liked the eggs, but we found the stuff that wen best was stuff no one had to heat up or worry about catching it hot.
We bought in the freezer section at Costco roll ups pre made and sliced and served those during pictures. perfect and easy! no clean up.
I would have bottles of water available too.
