So I had a second hair trial at a salon I love and it went fantastic. After we were done I decided to book with the salon, but they required that I and my bridal party get the bridal package ($250 for me, $100 for the BM), I wasn’t happy about this as I am doing my own makeup and we really don’t need all of the things included in the packages. Well the owner decided to accomadate our group but we have to have seperate appointments and come in seperately. I’m not exactly thrilled about the prospect of getting ready seperately, but I’m not sure what else to do. I really can’t afford another trial somewhere else. I had a lady willing to come to the house where we could be getting ready but she would have to start hair at like 8 in the morning to get all of us done. Has anyone else encountered this problem? Any bees have any advice? Thanks so much!

First and for most you need to feel comfortable and happy with your decision AND the person who is in charge of your appearance. If you are unhappy about not all being together that day then don’t do that. If you want to be at home then go for it, so you have to start early as long as your comfortable and feel good about it then that is all that matters. The sleepiest of the bunch can nap before they’re done. Between my girls (6) Flower girl (1), me, my mom, grandma, his grandma, mom, and sister we’re going to be starting really early to be getting us all in before our 4pm wedding. We’ll all be together – at least to begin with- and will be split between two women. One of whom I’ve told multiple times to “do what you think will look good”. She knows my tastes, she knows my style, and she knows what I expect out of my style. You need to have the trust in your stylist to go “I want this” and she’ll do it to the best of her ability.
