Yes! I had all my addresses in an excel workbook, so I used the numbers on the spreadsheet. Only two poeple didn’t write their names, but that made it worth it.

Everyone that I’ve talked to said to do it. It won’t hurt anything and I’m sure there are some people that will forget to put their names

I’ve always heard of people doing this, but we haven’t had a problem yet?  Everyone has put in their name and filled them out correctly.  I gambled and didn’t put numbers because I was so tired of doing the invites!  So far, so good!

I’m definitely doing it! The extra trouble now is 100% worth the future extra trouble it will save – I dread the idea of having to chase down all kinds of flaky guests and figure out what they really meant with their enigmatic replies. 😉

i did it, it was helpful when there were 110 invites and 30% didnt have return addresses listed or it was just M___________ with a yes on it.

Do it! You’ll be happy you did when you get a card that just says “Dan” with no response and no return address 🙂 I tracked mine in excel.

I did it, and we haven’t had any RSVPs without names, so I kinda wish I didn’t waste the time.

I’ve heard that most brides experience at least some no-names though, so it will probably be helpful!

I’m doing online RSVPs, but a friend who just got married numbered her RSVP cards with a pen that was only visible under a blacklight! That way, the guests didn’t know that she had numbered the cards. When she got ones without names, she just shined a blacklight on them and the number showed up.
