It sounds like it’s right around the corner. Try to be patient, though I know it’s hard to do. Maybe take a nap, see a movie, or go out for a relaxing lunch with your mom; something you won’t be able to do for a while once the baby does arrive.

Good luck!  Babies come when they are ready though.  From the sounds of it, you don’t have much longer to wait!

The baby will come! I promise he/she won’t stay in there forever πŸ™‚ Plus, i thought a lot of women go a few days/up to a week past their due date?

Good luck!  I know soon isn’t soon enough but best wishes for this wait to be soon a distant memory.

Good luck! I hope your baby comes soon and from the sound of it, he will. Have you tried taking long walks?

Congrats – you are so close!

Take a good long walk or two πŸ™‚ Maybe that will help. Even once labor starts – keep walking!

I remember this frustration.  I think I actually told my husband, “I’m never going to have this baby.  I’m going to pregnant until I’m 40.”  πŸ™

It’s so hard, but try to stay busy.  Walk as much as you can, even better if you’re walking around a fair or a mall where there’s lots of people and distractions.  Go have fun with mom getting pedicures (and aren’t foot massages supposed to help trigger labor ;).  You’re almost there!  Having an outside baby is just around the corner!

I say have fun researching and doing all the crazy stuff people recommend to bring on labor, then tell us how it goes! Eat spicy food, go walking, and uh…I don’t really know any other ones yet πŸ˜‰ I’m sorry it’s taking so long, I can only imagine how you feel

I’ve seen a lot of women get to this breaking point where they are just DONE with their pregnancy. Maybe it’s coincidence, but a pattern I’ve noticed is usually they’ll vent about how they’re tired of it and want the baby born, and within 24 usually they go into labor. I think a lot of times it’s because they’re actually in the very beginning stages of labor but don’t realize it yet so they’re just mighty uncomfortable and just totally over it. You do sound like you’ll be having this little baby soon though, so good luck! Definitely try taking a walk. That always helped my mom!

@JoesWifey:  My boss says that a woman won’t go into labor until she is so frustrated, the baby thinks it would be easier to be on the outside than it is to stay on the inside.  πŸ™‚

I’ve heard a lot of women feel “off” or feel like they’re getting sick (achy, feverish, just off feeling) right before going into labor; this wasn’t the case for me, but for several of the women in my mom’s group, that’s what happened.
