Assuming you’ve had the marriage talk, and you guys are the on the same page, either just show him. Or, leave it for him to find kinda deal. Example, my BF and I follow each other on Pinterest. Before he started following me, I had a wedding board, all with rings that I love on it. If he ever wants or needs to know, he knows he look there, he sees me pin dresses and event ideas all the time.

If you’re close enough with him, explain to him your vision, and send him pictures of rings you like.  That’s it!  People make it seem so hard.

I went as far as to come with Fiance to the store, and showed him the stone I wanted…the setting was a surprise.

Six months is really soon–if you’re in your early 20s. If you’re in your 30s or later, it’s not too soon at all. I think it’s about right. At that age, you have financial stability and generally know exactly what you want.
