I’ve been in my job for the last 5 years. I’ve wanted to leave for at least the last 2, but the economy made finding jobs in my field hard, and so I’ve stayed, knowing that I was fortunate to have a job. Now I’m counting down the days until March, when FH and I will get married and move. I’m finding it SUPER hard to stay motivated at work. I can’t wait until I don’t have to be here anymore!
Any advice/ tips on how to stay motivated?

I have no tips because I’m in a similar situation. I have been at my job only about two years but for the past year or so I’ve felt incredibly burned out by the job. I’ve applied to a lot of places but nobody is hiring because of the economy. I think sometimes about how much time I have until Fiance graduates in May and hopefully has a job somewhere else so we can move.

You could start pranking your coworkers The Office style 🙂 That would entertain me, at least.

I don’t think there are any tips really. Just know that you need to do it in order to pay your bills and be able to move. It was hard knowing that I was leaving my last job around March but didn’t tell them until July.
