Hey girls 🙂
I am 22 years old, my Fiance is 23. I am graduating from college this year. I don’t have a job lined up, but we are saving to by a house because it’s cheaper than paying rent (in our opinion). Relationships are hard for someone so young and not having a good relationship to look up too, but we are making it and we love eachother. My biggest advice is couples therapy for all of you who are unsure of where life will take you with your FI/husband. I am working on making myself happy and I know when I reach that point, I’ll have everlasting bliss.

Hey ladies. Im 21 and I’ll be 22 in Nov. my Fiance is 23 turning 24 in Feb., we are high school sweethearts (give or take a few bumps in the road). We dated off and on for the past couple of years and I have to say they have been the best of my life. He is my best friend what can I say,he knows everything about me and I wouldn’t have it any other way. We decided on a date a few days ago which is cool but kinda freaks me out too since the date is only 8 months away. I started telling my family and friends which made me happy, but of course there are always those people that have to bring you down right?
I don’t think I’m too young to know what love is and feels like. Of course of all the people telling me this is my grandmother who of course had her first kid at 17 and got married at 18. Again I’m 21…I really don’t get it……
Anywho…I’m uber excited about the wedding and all the planning I get to do.(Even though I’ve had a binder full of wedding stuff since I was 8. lol) I started looking for a venue and a caterer already. Is it too soon? I have all my bridesmaids picked out and they have already been appointed and given their jobs for the next couple of weeks. LOL
I know I’m getting started a little early but I’m EXCITED!!!!!! I’ve been waiting for this MAN my entire life, and I lucked up and got my bestie!
My only hope for the upcoming months is that nothing goes wrong and I don’t become a BRIDEZILLA! <3

I am 25, Fiance is 28. We have been together for 2 years, met thru friends. I work during the day and go to school at night. Fiance works construction/roofing. We don’t have a specific wedding date, we are thinking May 2013. I’ve only been on this site for a few days but I hope it helps get me thru the planning process more smoothly!

I am 21 and so is my Fiance. We met in history class our sophomore year of high school and have been dating for almost five years. We have had an LDR through college, with him pursuing cello performance at Ball State University and me doing a dual degree program in dance and mathematics at the University of Michigan (GO BLUE!). Thankfully, we’ve been able to be together during the summers and have really taken this opportunity to get to know each other very deeply and strengthen our relationship.
He proposed on June 28, 2012 on a beach at sunset during my family’s annual vacation to Cape Cod. We are very anxious to begin our life together as husband and wife, but are choosing to wait until summer 2014 for the wedding in order to become more settled in our career paths.
We love exploring nature, spending time with family and friends, and trying new restaurants and foods. I can’t imagine my life without this sweet, funny, energetic, and slightly crazy man by my side.
Once we do begin planning our wedding, we want it to be a relaxed, intimate, fun affair with lots of personal and DIY touches (my sister and I are pretty much addicted to Pinterest, so that will definitely play a big role in the process). Until then, we are enjoying our time as an engaged couple!

- Wedding: October 2017 - Woodloch Springs Resort, Hawley, PA
Hi! Both me and my SO are 20 years old and are planning to get engaged after college in a few years. No, we don’t have a wedding date. No, we’re not even engaged yet, but I do have a promise ring and he’s told me that we’d be engaged after college.
We’ve been together for over 2 years and for half of our relationship, we’ve been long distance. The first time we were apart was when we went to different colleges our freshmen year. Then we went to the same college our sophomore year, and now this summer (right now) I’ve moved to Pennsylvania and he is still in Missouri. I’ll be going back to school with him until we graduate, but holidays and summers will definitely suck without him there.
This is my first week on wedding bee and I am loving it. 🙂
There’s so many wonderful women on this website and so many wonderful tips for an upcoming wedding in my future! When I’m finally engaged, I’ll know where to look first. 😉

I guess I’m joining the party late 🙂
I’m 23, Fiance is 27. We are both born and raised California kids, but unfortunately for me I have bad luck trying to catch a good tan. I LOVE the beach, running, baseball (go Angels!) and of course, music. I’ve been playing the piano since I was just a little girl and I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to teach other children the wonderful gift of music.
We haven’t been together very long. As a matter of fact, we’ve “officially” been together for a few months, but we’ve known each other for years and it feels totally right. We have a little over 6 weeks until our wedding date and I’m extremely excited! I love Fiance so much and am so grateful to have him in my life.

@SweetVanity: OMG – Harry Potter is pretty much my obsession. I am not ashamed at all to say that I love reading the fanfiction too!

Well, I’m totally new to this website, but I’m 22 (will be 23 in about a month) and SO other is 22 as well.
We’ve known each other since our Freshman year of high school and have been friends the whole time. We started dating about 4 months ago and we just clicked. We keep joking that we were looking for “the one” in other people when in fact, the one was right in front of us!
I’m finishing up my schooling to be an elementary school teacher and he is a machinist working on a degree in accounting. He is a total movie guy and loves trying to figure out how things work. I love Harry Potter, genealogy, and cooking. And we both love long walks on the beach – so cheesy but the perfect place to get to know one another and just talk while listening to the waves crash. I’m loud and crazy and opinionated and he is quiet and a great listener – we really balance each other out.
He hasn’t proposed just yet, but he has bought the ring already – so I know it is coming. I’ve told him that the only thing that matters to me in the proposal is that he puts some thought into it. As long as there is thought, it will be wonderful and special. He keeps struggling to figure out exactly what he wants to do for the proposal and it is pretty adorable because he keeps trying to come up something better than before.
We won’t be getting married until 2014 when I am done with my teaching credential program – I can’t wait!

I am about to be 26 in oct & my fiance will be 26 in Feb. I’ve gone through some tough times in life & I am so happy to be where I am now & continuing to grow into a better person! When I was 17 I went away to college & at 18years old I met a boy & fell in love, got engaged & dropped out of school then 2 months later I married at 19, had 3 miscarriages, finally had a baby 3 days after I turned 21 (no drinking for me) went through my whole pregnancy with my man deployed, he came back for her birth, got me knocked up 2 months later, I had my son at 22 and seperated from my ex husband 6 months later after dealing with a lot of abuse.
Then I met my fiance & at 22 yrs old he took on me & my 8 month old and 20 month old kids! He is the only daddy my kids know & he is the most amazing man anyone could ever ask for!
I am a mom to two kids, I work part time & go to school full time ( went back to school about a yr ago) as well as being mom and planning this wedding! My Fiance is a staff sgt, in the Airforce & works on planes. He also is working on his associates degree.
We are getting married on March 21, 2013 & we are doing everything we can to make it a great day with as many DIY projects as possible.

I’m 23, my Fiance is 25. We’ve been together for 5 1/2 years. Both of us were born in NY, both have family in west coast Florida, and now live in Central Florida together. Fiance just finished grad school, starts his job next week. I will finish my BA degree just before the wedding, while working in my industry of study. And we’ve been engaged for almost 1 1/2 years already.

I’m 25 and Fi is also 25 (just 2 months younger than I am). We started living together when we were just dating for a few months. We also got engaged earlier on in our relationship and it was a learning experience. I think we both grew up quite a bit and we are stronger than ever.
We have been engaged for 5 years and we are getting married in 17 days! I am very excited!!!

I think I’m one of the only ladies older than my FI! 🙂 I am 24, Fiance is 22, been together for 1 1/2 years, getting married in May. We lived in the same town, had some of the same friends, and only lived 20 minutes away from eachother…but didn’t meet until: I moved away for college, he moved away for college, and I moved BACK to my hometown (while he was still 700 miles south). Met his sister through our bible study, and actually started talking online-yes, facebook. 😮 After texting for hours, we skyped that night for 4 hours, and continued that every day (for a month) up until we met in person during spring break 2 years ago. Yep, thats right. I flew 700 miles from home to meet this guy for the first time in person and spent a week with him not knowing if it would be awkward or not.
Lets just say, that was the most fairytale-like week of my life, and a year later he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. 🙂

Hi Bees! I love reading through all of the responses on this thread! I’ve been a lurker for a long time and only recent registered an account, so it seems like a good time to introduce myself as a 20-something. 🙂
We’re both 25 and we dated for five and a half years before getting married in August. We met on the first day of our college orientation and we’ve been pretty much attached at the hip ever since. Eventually, I earned my BA, while Darling Husband finished his degree with plans to go to law school. Our original plans didn’t go as we had imagined, since we graduated in 2009 at the height of the recession. When we realized that we could not survive on income from Starbucks (we tried!), we both went back to school and earned bachelor of science degrees.
For now, I’m enjoying being a newlywed while I look for work and get our house all set up. I love to sew, make music (sing theater and play piano), daydream about how much fun we had at our wedding, bake vegan food, and travel with my new husband. 🙂

I’m 26 and my Fiance is 31 so alot of the times I feel a lot older too. We’ve been together since I was 23 and fresh out of college. We are getting married in 2014. We both are very busy with work-he is attorney, I am a paralegal at my dream job. We don’t get out of the house much, but we enjoy vegging at home and because my job doesn’t pay the bills so we can’t afford to go out and do alot of fun things! But when we do, we like to go on adventures to roam around cute towns on the water, or to mini golf, or to a Sox game! And we looove to vacation to Disney 🙂
