I’ve successfully spent the last 30 minutes “meeting” everyone and I love it! I’ll play! =]

Hi, I’m lovemysailor1018, and as you can tell by my username, DH is in the Navy =P We’ve known eachother since we were 12 and were best friends, and officially got together about 2 years ago.. the rest is history! I think I may confuse people (or maybe people don’t notice, haha) because I am married, but am planning my wedding. We got married at the courthouse a year ago with no witnesses but the officiant, so now we’re planning our “BIG” wedding for March 2012 with all our friends and family! Sounds weird I know, but actually rather common with military folks. We love hanging out together at home playing video games or cuddling, and we both have major ADD so are very easily interested/distracted. =] Here are a few pics of us…

ohh, and puppy!

  • Spending time with DH
  • Reading good books
  • Outdoorsy stuff (boating, tubing, camping!)
  • Singing! and dancing =]

  • slow drivers!!
  • knowing there’s a surprise or secret that I can’t know
  • Tomatoes
  • Fake people

Little known facts:

  • I tried out for American Idol when I was 18
  • I’m 1/4th filipino and 1/4th black
  • I’ve shaken president Obama’s hand!

  • I’m totally addicted to this site. I feel so annoying putting my “two cents” in everywhere haha but I can’t help it!
  • I sing ALL the time! It drives DH crazy because I sing the most annoying songs ever, ha!

Yay love this! Hi everyone I’m HappilyEverAfter and I just turned 26 Halloween week (which makes me a SCORPIO)! I have an awesome soon to be 7 year old son and a super cool Fiance who I met a year an a half ago.

This is me!

This is US!

I have a rescue cat that is like a daughter to me and we named her Hannah Belle Lector!

Don’t be fooled by the picture she’s usually very sweet like this:

I have 1 beta fish name Budah and 1 crab named Speedy (he belongs to my son!)

I am OBSESSED with:

  • photography (hope to someday make a career out of that)
  • being a mommy
  • pinterest
  • the beach (where I hope to live someday soon)
  • cemeteries (very good for picture taking and long walks!)
  • astrology
  • planning my wedding
  • American Horror Story
  • raves, shows and festivals!!

^Thats how I like to spend my weekends!!

I like:

  • being outside
  • cozy snuggles
  • food
  • red bull and vodka
  • fall
  • tattoos (I have quite a few!)
  • Hershey Park

I dislike:

  • Money… I know that sounds odd but it’s very rare we have any extra and I feel like too much revolves around it… we try to find ways to have fun without it. The money we do save goes towards vacations- were 100% beach people living in Pennsylvania- see the problem? lol
  • Elevators- I’m terrified of elevators and I have pretty bad vertigo so they 98% of the time trigger a bad episode (I feel like I’m walking on a trampoline for 20 minutes after riding on an elevator).
  • Snow
  • People invading my bubble which also goes for my life.
  • Christmas (but we celebrate and sometimes get into it for my son) =)

Something you might not know/confession:

  • I can’t leave the house unless I wash my hair and have mascara on everyday…
  • I am always super paranoid
  • I can’t talk to strangers unless it’s on the weddingbee lol
  • Left overs scare me… I try to make sure we never have left overs.
  • I never met my father but I have a friend 2 years younger than me that has always been like a father to me (so much so that all our friends call him my dad and he’s even walking me down the aisle!!)

Wedding stuffies:

  • I am planning a Midsummer Nights Dream themed wedding
  • Were getting married in a theater (on stage!)
  • Oh I ruined my proposal by asking about it 24/7 LOL (it was still sweet though) but a week before Valentines day when it was supposed to happen

…and heres more pictures of us!

@HappilyEverAfter54: So, I thought of you the other day. I heard Skrillex on the radio and I remember you talking about him a whole bunch. He’s HUGE here. I’d never heard any of his stuff before moving to the UK. They listen to so much techno/house/electronica here.

I’ll play, but no pictures of me.

I’m BoiledPNut.  I was born and raised in the South and have made my way to the North (but I’ll always be a Southerner).  My accent mostly comes out when I get mad or “riled up”.  I met my Fiance at work.  I do medical research and he’s a computer nerd.  He came to fix my computer one day.  We both love to sing and make up songs about random things.  I feel sorry for our kids.  We have a small zoo – a dog, 2 cats, 3 chinchillas, a bearded dragon, a turtle, 2 fire-bellied toads and about 10 fish.

-“Southern” things like sweet tea, boiled peanuts (duh) and grits

-Reading.  I easily read over 100 books a year

-“Little Big Planet”.  I even own 2 sackboys.

-Socks.  Yes, socks.  I just bought a new set of drawers just for all my socks.  And yes, I wear them all.

-Sleep…seriously, I LOVE to sleep.

-Baking…especially if it involves cream cheese and/or pumpkin

-Any food that looks funny, smells funny, or has a funny name.  This makes me an extremely picky eater.

-Science Fiction

-When tv shows or movies get science stuff wrong.  It drives Fiance crazy because I’ll be like, “That can’t happen in real life!”

-Loud eaters

-People who talk too much….I love my quiet time!

-Laundry.  I will live out of my laundry baskets until everything is dirty.

-Feet.  I hate feet.  Don’t put your feet on me.  Gross

Little Known Facts:

-I have an identical twin sister. We didn’t know we were identical until we were in a twin study when we were 18.

-My Fiance and I are 10 years apart and I proposed to him.  πŸ™‚

-My friends call me a hippie.  I act like I don’t like it, but I actually think it’s funny.

-I will often say I don’t like a certain food based on how it looks or smells even though I’ve never tried it.

@zippylef: I think I need to move there! =D Though the festivals here are getting bigger and better every year… were just behind the curve I believe. I live on the east coast though and the huge events are on the west coast =/ We have Starscape though and thats where I saw Skrillex! My favorite is Mt Eden and they are from New Zealand but I got to meet them in DC!! lol =D

@Sn2bMrs.B: Great pictures! I used to be on Flickr all the time before we got engaged, now I’m always on here instead πŸ™‚

Ok, I’ll play now. Here’s me :Here’s my fiancé :This is our “son,” Dexter :

  • When my foods touch on the plate
  • People who never stop talking
  • People who stand in line in the store for 10 minutes then get to the register and have no idea where their money is

  • I had cancer when I was a baby and it left me legally blind in my right eye.
  • I don’t hear so good out of my right ear because of the massive radiation I had to that side of my head.
  • I hate having my picture taken and usually look away or hide behind someone else.

  • I once peed in the men’s room on top of the Eiffel Tower because when I got up there, they were cleaning the ladies room.
  • I never thought I’d actually marry an American man. I travel so much and always assumed I’d find some foreign guy on my travels, fall in love and come home married.

  • Wedding: May 2012

Greetings, I am KristenGettingMarried!  I’m 30 years old and have been here since I got engaged in January.  I quit my job in corporate retail to become a small business owner and now operate the best candle shop in the world.  I absolutely love what I do and wouldn’t trade it for anything.

I’m planning a bigger wedding than I ever imagined, but things are going well.  I have the venue of my dreams, found the dress that had everything I was looking for, and I’m using my small business connections to make awesome things happen with other vendors around town.  Very excited.

My fiance is almost 33 and is a national trainer for a global company, which takes him out of town for work Monday-Friday.  I miss him bunches but think this will be the key to our successful marriage πŸ˜‰

  • Making jewelry and having it sell in my shop (its nice when a hobby makes you money!)
  • Cycling and…. Running?  This one’s new to me but I’ve done two 5ks this fall and plan to keep going.
  • Food and wine, although this is now limited thanks to Weight Watchers
  • Global travel
  • Dance classes, which I miss terribly

  • Cilantro and super spicy food
  • Snarky Bitches
  • Black ice on roads
  • People who don’t control their children
  • Most children in general

  • I went to school on a scholarship for vocal performance (opera) with intentions of continuing on as a classically trained lyrical soprano… which is odd considering how deep my speaking voice is.
  • My grandpa was a very famous clown

  • I was arrested for holding a cocktail when I was 18 years old
  • I’m obsessed with Paranormal State and get legit freaked out by it
  • I don’t enjoy swimming in the ocean or any other open body of water, especially that I cannot see through.  This is a new fear that has developed with age
  • I think I’m an excellent cook and never use recipes
  • I think I look hot in my wedding dress (usually).
  • I won’t leave the house without lipstick on.

hi Bees! I lurked for quite a while, made a username, got engaged.. and now i’m here!

I’m FutureFoxWife. My Fiance calls me his fox, (hence the name) and i call him my bear. it’s too sweet right? (barf)

LIKES: Miniature things, sewing, and all sewing paraphernalia, sweet sugary candy,  spicy kettle cooked potato chips, british tv shows (monty python, the office.. etc), the color aqua and avocado green, when my hair cooperates, finding things i like on sale, scribbly fun drawings, chocolate almond milk, vintage pyrex, antique stores, looking at wedding photos of strangers, ugly pathetic animals, and of course, my Fiance.

DISLIKES: when drivers just cant drive, onions, anything that has to do with onions or that has touched onions, soda that is too cold, pricking my finger with a needle, my work commute, when people take things like technology for granted, (see- Louis C.K. rant), when people say hurtful things, when my ring is dirty, when they dont have anymore chocolate almond milk at the store.

This pic is from halloween. I was FLO from the progressive commercials, and he was Rick Grimes from The Walking Dead (comic version, not tv show)

This pic is from fall 2 years ago. as we can see my hair is no longer long  πŸ™  or red  πŸ™

ANYWHOO!  I love to bake, cook, paint, draw (in fact i’m currenty back in school for drawing and 2D design). Above all else Sewing is my passion!  πŸ™‚

I love to make clothes and bags and plushies and things.

weird critters!

GPS case for my sister!

I even made a quilt for my newest nephew!

I’ve also taken to collecting vintage pyrex bakeware and serveware.  πŸ™‚

This is my favorite piece so far!  Blowing Leaves 2 quart bowl πŸ™‚

and my single serve casserole dish in lime green!

Fiance is really sweet. He’s smart, and has the greatest sense of humor. He studied to be an illustrator, and we currentlyl work together! He’s product designer, and i do layout at the same company.  πŸ™‚ we havent set a wedding date, or even a wedding season. we’re both real laid back. Country, simple folk who like robots, zombies and good food. He’s quite the beer connoisseur and even brews his own. I like sweet white wine. We’re incredibly silly and will make a joke out of everything. Glad to meet you all!

Thnanks for reading. sorry for all the pics. I’m a very visual person πŸ™‚

I’m another one of the old (and maybe faceless) posters.  I’ve been on WB for over a year and a half now (and I stalked for a few months before I officially joined).

I’m FutureKMM (well actually, Mrs.KMM now).  I don’t have a ton of pictures on my work computer that aren’t e-pics, wedding pics, or honeymoon pics so that’s mostly what you’re going to get! πŸ™‚

I’m originally from IN and went to college in GA (Georgia Tech – Go Jackets!).  DH and I met in college and were good friends for 2.5 years before we started dating.  All of our friends swore we’d hooked up long before we started dating but it isn’t true.  I’m pretty sure many of them knew we’d end up together eventually though.  After I graduated I moved out to CA for 10 months of job training so we did the east coast / west coast LDR thing but then we relocated together to Dallas, TX.

We’re both a little crazy at times (who am I kidding …. a lot crazy).  We balance each other well though and always have a great time together.

We’ve been married for almost a year and a half and honeymooned to Alaska via cruise.  Within a week of getting back from our trip, we adopted our little girl Khloe (she’s a lab mix) and we love her to pieces even though she is a little crazy.

  • DH and our dog Khloe
  • All things athletically related except for working out
  • Football!!
  • Randomly singing and dancing all the time
  • Curling up with a good book.
  • Travel!
  • Nerdy science things (I’m a Biomedical Engineer by degree which means I have to be a bit of a nerd).

  • People who walk slow
  • Cold – especially cold air blowing directly on me.
  • Coffee (but just the taste, I love the smell)

Little known facts:

  • When I lived in IN, I did a polar bear swim every New Years Day where we ran into one of the local rivers (sometimes after breaking ice off the top).
  • DH and I are both certified SCUBA divers.  Love diving!
  • I went to SE Asia for 3 months when I was in college completely on my own.  I didn’t know a soul when I landed.

(Not actually from a polar bear swim.  We were running back to our hotel from the hot tub at a ski resort and ran into Santa.  You can definitely see the snow and icicles though!)

  • DH and I broke up for a couple of months about 6 months into dating.  Luckily DH realized he missed having me in his life and came to his senses because now we are stronger than ever.
  • I’ve made out with 10 different guys in DH’s fraternity (and he knew about all of the others before we started dating and one of them was our best man).

He always does random small acts of love for me. LOVE HIM!

-Dirty, Sticky hands.

-The feel of velvet, sound of alarm clocks.

-Folding socks in the laundry. I HATE IT.

-I was adopted when I was little.

-I was 1 of 10 HS juniorseniors in my entire state, chosen to play in a concert band that would travel around Europe for 2 months performing at some of the most elite music halls. I was chosen both my Junior and Senior year ( HUGE HUGE honor) and my parents flat out refused to let me go.  My younger brother was allowed to go to Germany unsupervised(just because) . I can make it from scratch, out of my head(no recipe) but I found a premade bagged version that tastes the exact same way. I alwasy used the bagged kind now and people always brag about how awesome it is! I still have never told anyone they can buy it for $4.00 and that I didnt slave away making it!

– My youngest brother and I were home alone one day and he kept being really mean to me (since he was the baby he got away with EVERYTHING.) We had hardwood floors in our house and I was standing on a blanket in front of the tv and he came through and jerked the blanket out from under me. I fell HARD. I got so mad I just snapped and beat him up. I busted his lip and blacked one of his eyes. He was sooo embarrassed that he got his butt kicked by a girl he told my parents he was in a fight at school! He refused to tell them the truth!

I may be little but Im fiesty and can surely hold my own! hahaha πŸ™‚
