4 months engaged here and definitely still conscious that it’s on my finger. I don’t wear it 24/7, and perhaps if I did then It would start to feel more normal on… I figure I’ll get there someday. LOL

The morning after I got mine, i stretched and scratched my eyebrow. LOL. It took me about a week to really get used it it. Now it’s not so bad, i still play with it with my thumb, lol my own way of showin git off.
I’ve had mine a couple months now and I’m still not fully used to it. I’m just used to my hand being naked and free I guess.
Nimmle02: I sincerely apologize for saying you were humble bragging. I didn’t read your entire post and I admit that I was wrong.Your ring is absolutely breath taking, congratulations and again I’m sorry.
I also apologize to everyone else I offended by making that remark. I’m sorry for over posting my rings i didn’t realize that it bothered anyone.
Happy holidays bees! ๐
Nimmle02: OMGoodness your ring is stunning. And I am looking forward to seeing that beauty posted many more times.
Same here. It felt so awkward.. I have big knuckles and very small base so its difficult to take off but it is fairly lose at the base of my finger. I woke up at 5am the morning after we got engaged and was half asleep and panicked about having something on my finger and pryed it off, causing major swelling lmao. It feels like a part of my hand now, and is so weird when I don’t have it on
mrssloan2013: I don’t think calling out “humble brag” is insulting… more playful (but I do agree OP wasn’t trying to brag). Also mrssloan your set is one of my favs here so I love seeing it (I will steal your idea of the mismatched twisted stack band).
OP- you will get used to wearing your ering and will feel naked without it! It’s beautiful!
Minimalist: I agree, but I still feel bad for saying it. Thank you for the compliment ๐
I got engaged Dec 8 and that first night, I thought the ring was cutting off circulation to my finger and then (somehow) my whole arm! I couldn’t sleep from the weight and ended up taking it off in the middle of the night. I don’t sleep with it on anymore and I’m a little more used to the weight but I do get itchy fingers from the side stones.
mrssloan2013: Please don’t feel bad for saying it. I take as a playful thing :).
I’m glad to read that I’m not the only one in this boat! I’ve always been rather conservative with my jewelry choices and I have to say it has been quite an adjustment. I’m finally used to it, I think. At least I haven’t wacked my hand on anything in the past few days. let’s just say thank goodness this thing is well made otherwise I would have destroyed it by now!
I’m sorry I wasn’t keeping up with this thread as much as I should. The holidays have been a whirlwind! I hope all of you had a wonderful new year.
GirlyGirl24: This post definitely made me lol. #firstworldproblem indeed ๐
I saw your ring on another thread and specifically came looking for more pics! THIS IS GORGEOUS! Have you posted specs? It looks so lovely… absolutely adore the channel set graduated stones in the band. Is that a bit of milgrain I see?
gorgeoussss. I love your ring! Congrats on your engagement ๐
It took me awhile to get used to the diamonds on the band as well. I noticed that I had my pinky out in almost every picture in the beginning because I wasn’t used to the band LOL. It doesn’t take long to get used to though. Now I barely notice im wearing it
