Thank you. Thyroid is good, had it done recently, good ultrasound, ovulating, so on the surface no issues 🙂

howsweetitis: thank you for the informative article! 50% is promising :))
jammer62: I feel you on the stories. It does sound awful. My pet peeve is when someone says “it will happen when you relax/dont think about it” bs. Relaxing has nothing to do with it, done actual research and anxiety and everyday stress has no impact on conception. And not thinking about it is just absurd, if one is actively ttc, it’s impossible not to think about it. And ppl definitely get BFPs on cycles when charting, timing, stressing and “thinking about it” daily :)))
jetsetbee: i guess i read the book in a very anxious state of mind and it did more harm than good…lol.
my insurance states that it doesn’t cover any “fertility treatments” but cover diagnostics, maybe I will call and find out the details, timelines, etc. Its great you got a problem diagnosed fairly quickly. Are there any treatments you were offered for DH? Do you recall how much test was?
koi424: I definitely will watch that. I have heard the 20% number, if everything is “perfect”. I should stop googling, but read somewhere that if have “unexplained” infertility, goes to 2% or somethin. Thats pretty frightening.
MrsxWBee: Congrats, that’s wonderful !!
auggiefrog: I hope it happens super soon for you. Have to keep on trying, no other choice. 🙂
Go get a fertility workup before fretting too much. The workup is mostly a blood/urin analysis and some sonograms. it’s not too scary.
This whole process is a pain. And in my view pop culture hasn’t helped. All you see on TV/movies are two kinds of women: the ones who accidentally get pregnant or the ones who are dying to get pregnant but can’t. good TV I guess but really bad for confidence level.
My doc just kept repeating that I was young and healthy and so there was no reason to worry and so be patient. except I worry about EVERYTHING and I am the least patient person I know.
Of course i ended up with a good story. Exactly 6 cycles of tracking/charting and I became pregnant with my little girl. I spent a lot of those six cycles on here because it gave me somewhere to go where I could give my feelings room and not be ashamed to be obsessively symptom spotting and no one judged me for the early test (just gently reminded me that a week was probably not long enough to wait).
Wish I could tell you it’s better the second time around. And yet here I am back again.
Good luck. Chart. Temp. Learn your body. Lean on the ladies here who really know their stuff.
iRun2004: Yes, so agree on the pop-culture thing. Lifetime movies are awful in that stereotypes. There are no movies portraying a woman wanting to get pregnant, charting, etc and getting pregnant. lol.
Congrats on your sixth cycle BFP!! 🙂
