Just last week I found this show on Netflix.  I watched a few episodes, including the italian island one.  I’ve decided that I don’t like it.  they don’t spend enough time talking about the history of the place and then at the end they don’t sum anything up or go back and do an “events after the lockdown” sort of thing.  They just end it abruptly.  Also I think all paranormal activity they document is pretty thin.  Some random distant sound?  really?  maybe it’s a rat, the wind, a bat, etc etc.  I’m just not convinced.  Also it’s pretty comical when they try to make words out of random sounds.  I NEVER hear what they are hearing.

On top of that I think the main guy is obnoxious.  I love ghost and paranormal stories and shows so maybe i’ll find another one that is more convincing.

I LOVE this show. Sometimes they have realllly good visual evidence. Check out the Gettysburg epidsode! I thinl the show is pretty heavily dependent on the personalities of the investigators and I love these guys. I’m not as crazy about some of the other ghost shows b/c I don’t like the people.

Yeah, some episode are pretty thin on evidence, but there has been some amazing stuff, like full-bodied apparitions and bricks being thrown across rooms. Lol watching Ghost Adventures is FI’s and my Friday night ritual 🙂 we look forward to it all week.

I’m a die-hard GH fan, but I do watch Zak and his show mainly for the laughs.  Their reactions to everything are so over-the-top (I love Aaron & Nick’s facial reactions) and their interpretations of EVPs usually have me scratching my head, but for entertainment purposes they’re ok.  I remember one EVP they caught where it sounded like a surfer dude saying, “Sweet” (Suh-weet).  Really?  Ya think a ghost would say something like that in a haunted house???  I like Paranormal State because the main guy is soooooo serious about everything, plus they bring in that wacky, fruity psychic guy who’s hilarious.  But Ghost Hunters is definitely my favorite!
