- Wedding: June 2014
My wedding DIYs have pretty much come to a close, but in just 10 days is my bachelorette in Las Vegas (nearly all of us had to be there for a conference anyway, so we are just flying out a day early).
My MoH has put together a great party. A 1960s mod style night on the town. Go go boots, mini skirts/bell bottom pants, lots of hairspray. I wanted to thank each of the ladies for coming with a little welcome bag. It will be filled with lots of goodies, some from me, some from the hostes (MoH). I just wanted to share a few of the DIYs I will include in the bag.
Remember, these are just some of them and all are really just for fun.
I used my Silhouette and outdoor permanent vinyl to make the to go cups (the tacky wine glasses to go-perfect for a Vegas bachelorette). Without a Silhouette (or Cricut) you could do the same thing with premade permanent stickers, preferably the vinyl ones made to go outside.
Some “mod” lip balm. This is just regular lip balm from the drug store with a new label over it. I made it with my regular old printer, word processor and a sheet of sticker paper. Each label is 1.8″ by 2″. I then covered the sticker with clear packing tape to get the water-/dirt-proof label.
Water bottles. Same thing as with the lip balm except I use ordinary paper. I just cover both sides with the tape so the labels are water proof.
The only other DIY I included was a few sets of earrings for each: one mod-ish pair, the other more “normal.”
