I love giving knives for Christmas. Really nice carving knives and they often come in sets at places like Bed Bath and Beyond or Costco. My co-workers just the other day were talking about this electric grill pan thing they both really want, also something you can probably find at BB&B. Two movie tickets (not actual tickets, but a gift card) bundled with candy and a popcorn tin? A super soft blanket and slippers/robe/aromatherapy mask?

I took a box of liquor-filled chocolates I bought at the liquor store to a gift exchange at work, and it nearly caused the entire company to implode.  It was the most popular thing ever, and it was extremely entertaining watching it get “stolen” each and every time.  Same thing nearly happened with a bottle of spiked eggnog I brought with me to a gift exchange a few years back.  I’ve come to realize that alcohol is pretty in-demand.

A good soy candle is always a good last minute gift. I also like the wine idea.

i second PPs who say alcohol gifts…unless you know for a fact that there is like an overwhelming amount of devoutly religious folks and/or recovering alcoholics, you can’t go wrong.

i would also say bundle gifts–movie theater gift cards with snacks (or even a dvd with snacks); if it’s all-women, a gift card to VS (never EVER met a woman who would turn that down), etc.

Alcohol. If you don’t like it somebody will surely steal the gift. I have bottles stocked up of big black d❤️Ck rum that is a party favorite.

Last year for our work’s gift exchange I brought a bottle of Fireball and advil. Soft blankets are always a big hit too. I just bought a Calvin Klein queen size from Costco for about $17!

Though I don’t drink at all, I second the alcohol gifts. I would happily have that ‘stolen’ for something someone else may not want. If I ended up with an alcohol gift, I could always bring it as a hostess gift or regift it to someone else for Christmas.

Arebee22:  alchohol is always a good choice. Another idea is a glass water bottle! You can get them for about 15 dollars at target.
