I’ve posted something similar before, but there were pretty much no responses! Haha.
I’m trying to think of what I can get my dad as a gift for my wedding. Moms are much easier to figure out! I’d love to hear what you got for your fathers.

I got my parents a gift card to an upscale restaurant that they wouldn’t have gone to otherwise because of the price. My parents are hard to buy for because they tend to buy what they want for themselves. Does he have any hobbies?

My dad is impossible to shop for. I made my parents a scrapbook with photos and my favorite memories growing up. I borrowed some prompts from a premade book, ex. “How you helped me prepare for the wedding” and “my goals for the future.” They loved it!
If you must have a material gift, think about his favorite bands, movies, etc. My husband and dad both love Top Gun, so I got them both leather bomber jackets for Christmas. They are practical gifts and made for a very cute photo op.

I’m pulling on a story my dad has told me countless times before. On the morning I was born, he went outside for a smoke (he quit after I was born). He said he was standing there in the early morning (5:30-ish), internally freaking out that he now had a daughter, when he saw a flock of Canadian geese fly acorss the sky. He says it just made him feel super calm, and reassured. From that point on, he’s taken Canadian geese as a good sign. So I’m getting him a keychain, engraved with an image of a flying Canadian goose. (I know he’ll cry!)

We are sending my parents on a trip as a combination thank you gift for all that they have done for our wedding and my dad’s 60th birthday later this year. A really nice all-inclusive in the Caribbean is the plan. I’m hoping it will be a nice respite for them after all the wedding-related craziness they (and we) are currently dealing with.

I’m not sure how much you’d want to spend but I think a good watch is generally a nice gift for a dad, you could get something engraved on it for him too! 🙂
