How many of you are getting your groom a gift? I don’t want to spend a lot of money as I would rather put it toward other things. So something somewhat unique or clever and inexpensive is the route i want to take.If I don’t come up with something, it may just be a sweet, heartfelt card that I make for him.
What are you bees doing for your groom?

I went the expensive route. I ordered my fiance a Nixon watch. He was mentioning how he thought a white watch for the wedding would be cool and it has sort of been “our thing” that I get him these cool Nixon watches for gifts so it was somewhat sentimental as well.
I would say try to think of something that is very “you guys” and get him a little reminder of that.

I’m actually doing a few things. For the most expensive gift, I’m getting him a new watch that he can wear on the wedding day (planning to spend about $250). However, I also got him a “Trophy Husband” tshirt as a gag gift (about $25) b/c I think it’s too cute and I figure he can wear it on Sunday morning while we catch up with some of our guests. I also ordered an embroidered handkerchief from etsy (about $10) that just has a little saying with our wedding date.

I am buying him airplane cuff links. Our relationship began as a LD relationship, still is really just considerably smaller distance (5 hr plane ride vs 2 1/2 car ride now). I thought the cuff links would remind him of all we overcame to be with one another.

I’m thinking about getting him a set of soap chess pieces since he loves chess…he already has a nice chess set otherwise I would have gotten him one. I was also thinking sending him a bottle of milk the morning of (his favorite drink) and making him a scrapbook…and also getting him a personalized money clip.

I got him a custom leather blacksmithing apron and he got me an incredible set of wooden crochet hooks (pieces that will last a lifetime in use). I would have gotten him a bike but it was out of my budget by the time the wedding happened.
