Are they going to be attending your wedding? If they are, have your photographer take a picture of you with the couple and have it framed. Maybe a gift certificate to their favorite restaurant along with it?

How about a gift certificate to a couples’ spa or maybe a night out (dinner and show or something)? I think it depends on the price range, but it def. sounds like you should do something nice for them.

A very sincerely written thank you note

If they’re attending your wedding, since its their anniversary, have your photographer get a really nice couple shot of them, buy a gorgeous frame and tuck that photo in there along with a generous gift certificate for dinner/night out. Or I’d arrange for them to have a getaway weekend so they can celebrate since they’re “hosting” your wedding on their anniversary.

What does their property look like?  Would they appreciate a plant, planter, outdoor lights, or garden decoration of some sort, etc?

Which anniversary is it for them?  Could you pick something along the anniversary gift themes?  How about a piece of serving ware that will match their home?

Maybe have a professional cleaning service or a landscaping service? I know most people would enjoy either.

You have to write them a thank you, and hire landscapers and cleaners to come in after your event and leave it in better shape than it was given to you in.

I think a very generous gift certificate to a hotel/spa and great restaurant would be a wonderful “thank you”. In fact, i’d offer to put them up the weekend of your event

@Jen0310:  Maybe you could get a copper-hued frame for the photo if you decide on that? And if you know any of your co-workers that are friends with her, perhaps you could ask them for suggestions? Who knows, maybe she’s always dreamed of a balloon ride over their property, or secretly wants to go skydiving?  I think anything that shows that you’ve put some thought and effort into a gift would be greatly appreciated!

offering their property for your wedding is a very generous.  i think the picture idea is great but i would also give them much more.  gift card for a weekend away, favourite restaurant or spa.

how much would have you spent on renting a venue similar to this?  i would keep the gift amount to a similar price amount.
