My brother’s fiancee is having her shower in a few weeks…and they aren’t registered anywhere. The bridesmaids are asking us to bring gifts that will help with a happy marriage. I am trying to think of something awesome. Any ideas?

Maybe a giftcard to Bed Bath & Beyond or somewhere. Or some cute picture frames. Do they already live together?

One of my favorite gifts was fairly simple:
It was one of those nice boxes that you can use for decoration after, and in it was four wine glasses, a bottle of wine (that is now my favorite), some dish towel (cant ever have enough of those), one of those drawer smelly good packets, a picture frame and candles, Simple 🙂

@katyd: Personally, I don’t like a lot of random stuff. I would suggest a giftcard to Target, you can buy just about anything there.

gifts for a happy marriage? Like a remote control starter or a second bathroom? I’m not really sure what that means, but I guess if I got that I would bring them a relationship book (but I don’t think that’s what they mean)

If I saw that on an invite I would buy some lingerie, a bedside kama sutra, a blindfold and some hand cuffs. But maybe it would be best to go with a gift card lol

Gift cards do not say “happy marriage”. If it’s a joke, I would totally go with something funny like a self closing toilet lid/seat (trust me we have one, they are amazing haha). If it’s something sweet maybe a book they can fill out about the things they love about each other, or a gift card to a nice restaurant for date night, things they can do together to strengthen their bond. Of course handcuffs always make people happy too 😉

My future sister in law is a super fan to Chanel. So, what we did was to get her a Chanel dinner bag, a Chanel lipsticks and a hankie with special note embroidered on it. We didn’t take the pics of all these things but from the website is look like this :
The hankie is from http://www.lil-inspirations.com/index.php?l=product_list&c=2
