    We told everyone in our wedding party NOT to give us gifts, as they are already spending money on their attire and who knows what else. We know that they probably will (and have with the showers I’ve had)… but it’s certainly not necessary and I won’t be offended at all.

    Heck, even a friend of mine is doing our slideshow and I told her that for the time it’ll take for her to do it, and set it up that night… that’s her gift to us. I don’t need anything else!

    amberback:  One of my coworkers received their invitation framed nicely as a gift — 10 or so years later, they still say it was their favourite gift!
