My fiance has a motorcycle  so I’ll probably get him something related to that like a new jacket or helmet or even new saddle bags. Something that I can get engraved or stitched on the inside so he knows that it was a wedding gift but can’t be seen by everyone else as one. I would try and get him something that speaks to his hobbies, so you know the gift will not go unused. I’d rather get him something less expensive that I know he’ll love than get him a big flashly thing that is just going to gather dust.

My Fiance and I don’t understand the idea of getting each other wedding gifts; like hellooooo your gift is me. Haha. BUT, my Fiance is obsessed with these bespoke post boxes. They have like different little sets you can choose from alike campfire grill sets or Moscow mule making sets or overnight bag sets. theyre all really nice and manly (even though I complain about him ordering them every month). Might be worth looking into!

We decided not to do gifts but then he said he was going to get us Wicked tix for when we’re in NY? lol I don’t know we’re both so indecisive. I might get him a new iPhone because I’m so sick of him complaining about his android. I don’t know if I can take another month of comlaining, though!

Not sure if this is an option for you, but maybe will give you an idea? My DH and I met at our old job where we Gchatted all the time, so I made him a 350 page softcover book of all our Gchats from when we first started talking. It was interesting and cute to read how we used to talk to eachother.  I also got him (us) a pair of good seats to a concert he wanted to go to and hotel for the night of so we can make a date night out of it together!

MrsFiveOh:  LOL I told my fiancé about gift exchange and he was baffled and confused! I am going to write him a love letter and will likely get him something small/crafty but I am not into the whole “spend hundred on a designer watch/purse”… you are spending enough on the wedding. The wedding/marrige is your gift.

I gave him a love letter and a set of books he really wanted since a long time. Along with that I gifted him a saddlebags, leather jackets and a set of beard grooming products from his favourite store. All this because he is a biker with a beard!

I haven’t got anything yet but Fiance is not a watch guy but he is obsessed with tools so I think I might give him one of the ones he really wants and engrave it 🙂 had to think outside the watch square with him- I wish he wore a watch though they are so sexy on a guy! But oh well a tool it is 🙂

Went with watch engraved with the date and a cute message. He gave his guys pocket watches anyway and was so excited to wear something new on his day. Damn it. I meant to give him his favorite whiskey with a few shot glasses for “one last shot before tying the knot” but ran out of time. We had whiskey in the room he was drinking anyway, the venue had whiskey and we had an expensive bottle for the ceremony. He was already set.

We weren’t going to give each other gifts, but I saw a pocket sized, one-shot hip flask with Dutch Courage engraved on it on sale so I bought it. I gave it to him the night before the wedding when we were sharing a drink and a quiet moment together. He, in turn, surprised me with an antique spoon turned into a key ring (just the handle) with LOVE engraved on it. He gave it to me during our first look and I just adore it.

mfox89:  Haha! Mine too. When I brought up the idea his exact words were “Wait, what? I’m supposed to get you a gift?” He looked like a confused puppy. I told him we didn’t have to, as it didn’t really matter to me, and I would much prefer a great celebration and honeymoon.

But now he’s insistant. So I put a dollar limit on it, cause he tends to go overboard when it comes to gifts. No more than 50.00. I already picked his out, a flask engraved with his initials. He has a home bar and it is so fitting. He’s mentioned wanting his own flask a few times, I just hhope he doesn’t buy one for himself before we get married or I’ll be back at square one.

This may sound really weird, but I’m buying Fiance a glock (gun) that he can never seem to find in stock anywhere. I got the call yesterday that it is available, but it has to be registered in my name for the time being until we can switch everything over into his possession.
