I third money! If you feel the need for it to be a “gift” and not money, a gift card.

Ours was a pastor at a local church. He didn’t want to be paid either so we let him know we sent a donation to his church.

My husband’s cousin (who is an experienced wedding officiant) married us. We bought her a $500 gift certificate to her favorite spa. For your uncle, does he have any special interests or activities?
