My cousin and her wife’s third son was born last week (the other two are both under 5) and I’m not sure what to send as congrats.. they obviously have tons of clothes in all sizes and tons of toys, etc. They live several states away so I can’t make them a casserole or anything. Any ideas?

You could call and have a pizza or chinese food delivered to them, or you could send a book with a personal message written inside, or give the gift of a savings bond (not sure if they’re worth it these days, so maybe a check or a piggy bank or something like that).

They will always need diapers and wipes – gift card to amazon or diapers.com might not be the most exciting gift but it sure is useful!

I agree with PP…diapers or dinner delivered. Or…something for the two older boys to keep them occupied for a minute or two. I am a nanny for a 5 y/o, 3 y/o and a 3 month old….the hardest part is keeping the older two boys content long enough to change a diaper, feed the baby a bottle and get him down for a nap!

In my experience people have gotten the older children just a little something (since the baby is getting all the attention) and then something for the little one. but since they’re all boys I’m not sure. I think dinner delivered is a wonderful idea!!!
