Just thinking about wedding ettiquette and traditions and wondering if you all are going to be getting your Fiance a gift for your wedding day? Have you talked to him about whether or not you will do gifts for eachother or how much you’ll spend?
I’m most likely getting him a nice watch that I will have engraved….what are your ideas?

We’re getting each other sunglasses. Him because I always lose mine and me because there’s this pair he’s wanted forever.

We’re a bit non-traditional with our gifts. He is upgrading my engagement ring setting, and I am getting him a laptop because he’s in serious need of a new one.

I’m getting him a Soft Leather binder engraved with “I’d follow you into hell with a water pistol” (he’s in ministry and will be able to use it for his sermons)
I’m excited! =)

I wasn’t sure what to get, but as I was browsing etsy.com for cool wedding stuff, I came across these custom photo frames from a shop called “The Sugared Plums”:
They’re fully customizable – colors/background/quote/fonts/position and orientation of the frame. And rather inexpensive for custom work at $75! I used a lyric from our first dance song (“In the Colors” by Ben Harper). I placed his favorite engagement photo in it, and we’re going to replace it with a photo of our first dance. Here’s how it came out (this is the final comp – the green border is an actual wooden frame):

I would like to get a boudoir photo shoot done and give him the photos from it as a wedding gift.

I’m having a sign made of our new last name to hang in our home. It’s one of those signs that a photogragher goes and finds natural things that look like the letters of your last name. Our future last name is 11 letters, so it’s going to be about 5 feet long she said! I’m excited to see it!

I had a boudoir shoot done and then made a photobook. In a way it was kind of a gift for me.. it was a lot of fun!

I am surprising him with a trip to Switzerland to get a watch he’s been eyeing on. They don’t sell them in the states and he refuses to buy it before he tries it on. I’ve always wanted to go there with him, so it works out. This is more of an engagement gift, but I figure the trip can be the engagement gift and the watch can be the groom’s gift. Either way, I know he’s saving for a ring and I just want him to know that I’m saving just the same for a gift for him.
