Does canada have a pajamagram shipper?  I sent them to my neices when they were around that age and they adored them, along with the fuzzy slippers.

I have a 4 year old and we also do no have much Disney or anything to commercialized in our home. I also teach 1st grade (6/7yrs). They are really into making things- so anything arts and crafts they love. I got my daughter a large tote and am filling it with all kinds of cheap craft stuff- glue sticks, scissors, all kinds of paper and writing/drawing instruments. I also got some really cheap blank cards with envelopes so she can make her own thank-you cards and birthday cards throughout the year. Its also something that we can do together throughout the year and since I am a craft junkie we can add to the collection over time to make even more stuff. Also, what about a gift certificate to something like build-a-bear?

No particular idea but just to let you know that Monday Dec 12 is Free Shipping Day for many online merchants in Canada.

I’m getting my daughter (who will turn 5 the day after Christmas) a pink Doodlebear, that stinkin overpriced Lalaloopsy doll with the curly hair, a Barbie with a dolphin, and a Hello Kitty scrapbooking kit. She also loves coloring/artsy stuff, so I’m debating on whether or not to get her an art kit too even though I know it’ll end up all over the house! Little girls are surprisingly easy to shop for…if it’s pink and glittery they are generally satisfied! 🙂
