The “party” (really just a getaway) is in Vegas. I have hotels rooms for the ladies already and I’m buying my wonderful Maid/Matron of Honor a pair of go go boots that she wants for planning the event.
What should I get the other ladies who will be coming? What would you like?

I think bachelorette parties in Vegas are all about being slightly ridiculous and having fun. I’d put together a little goodie bag with tiny liquor bottles, so silly props light glow necklaces and light up tiaras. Maybe throw in some chocolate- especially if you can find the ones wrapped in foil that look like poker chips.

@MexiPino: I like the chocolate! We are a *slightly* older group of ladies, so I’m not too sure about the light up tiaras, but glow stick definitely!
Thanks 🙂

@MexiPino: yesss!! I think your ideas are perfect. the last getaway bachelorette party I went to, we also received mason jars that were decorated with our names and sequins and glitter. They were super cute and that’s what she put our mini bottles of alcohol in. Then we used our mason jars to drink in the hotel.

Also in our little gift bags, we had a scavenger hunt list. Which I know isn’t necessarily a gift but the winning partners got like a fifteen dollar Starbucks gift card. We had a blast and it was an awesome bonding activity. the list had crazy stuff so it took all night and we thought it was great!

@Renlikescats: Cute!
I shoud probably add that I and many of my friends will not be drinking alcohol at all (me never, some are pregnant, others just don’t).

@wabanzi: ok… I just assumed party in Vegas meant young 20-somethings. lol. You could do something like some mud masks and lotions to use in the morning. I love the scavenger hunt idea.

@wabanzi: well then alcohol is no good! 🙂 do you have a cookies by design where you live? Idk if that’s just regional or everywhere but they have these really yummy cookies and you can get them shaped in just about anything. I’ve seen little brides and little wedding cakes. Maybe something like that would be cute!

@MexiPino: More like a fun getaway. No penis bouquets, no body shots, no strippers. Just fun, food, a show, and probably too much gambling 🙂

@Renlikescats: I love that idea! Perhaps casino chip or dice cookies!
Thank you!

We’re going to a ski resort so I bought us all faux fur headbands. I think something you can wear to show you are all a big group is fun. Bright sunglasses?

The only bachelorette party I attended with party favors included those elastic hair ties in the wedding colors. They really come in handy and the livened up the gift bag.
Orientaltrader.com has really fun and cheap party favor things. I ordered personalized light-up shot glasses for DH’s 30th birthday party in Vegas. Doesn’t sound like that’s your scene, but they have other cool stuff that won’t break the bank and will make the bride feel really special.

So I know my original post is a bit old, but the bachelorette is in just 8 days and I’m so excited! It is
My MoH let is slip (she is terrible at secrets) that she was putting together gift bags as well, so I confessed I was doing the same and we decided to combine our efforts.
On my end I have little treat bags filled with chocolate poker chips (thanks
MexiPino: !), to go wine glass cups (just for fun–b/c these are rather silly) that I personalized (the bachelorette is mod-1960s themed), some earrings I made, bottled water and mod lip balm:

I don’t know all the things that my MoH is adding (other than little liquor bottles & sparkling juice for me and small engraved frames for group photos), but I have black canvas totes to put all the stuff in once we get there.
I still need something really, really special for her since she planned this whole thing and is such a wonderful person in general. It has to be small and none-liquid, since she never checks her luggage. Honestly, I was thinking about a $50 or $100 casino chip. She is a gambler like me, but that seems a little impersonal. I did buy her go go boots for the weekend and was able to get a comp room for her. I just don’t know…
