- Wedding: July 2013
I’m really hoping that she doesn’t regularly post on the Bee so she doesn’t see this :), but my fiance’s brother is going to get married to his Mexican-American fiance this year, and I thought it would be nice/sweet to give her and my soon-to-be-brother-in-law a small wedding gift that is related to her culture. I remember her saying it is customary for her family to financially chip in for the wedding (I’m Korean, we do the same thing), but I thought it would be nice to also give her a gift. I remember when my aunts and cousins were getting married in Korea, there were numerous gifts that all had a special meaning to it (certain types of furniture, figurines or decorations, clothes, jewelry, and even food). My fiance and I were just wondering if there are gifts like that that I could give to them.
Thank you in advance for any ideas/tips 🙂
