Do you want a commemorative-type gift or something the kids will use practically?

I was a flower girl in my cousin’s wedding at age 5. They gave me a sterling silver heart-shaped locket.  I wore it for years and loved it.  For girls whom you think would appreciate/wear it, I think fairly inexpensive jewelry is a good option.

Not so sure what to get boys, though.

For two flower girls (age 4 & 6), I got them each beach bags/backpacks from American Girl (from Bath & Body Works) for only $12 each.

I thought I’d put fun activities inside, coloring books, etc.

Older kids are hard to buy for unless you know them really really well. I’d get them gift cards.

The little ones are easier because all little kids like similar stuff. Jewelry for the little girl is a good idea. I know lots of little boys who like bracelets, too. Especially something "cool" looking.

We have 3 flower girls, between 5 and 7, who are into all things girly.  I’m thinking I may do a personalized bag for each with a compact, lip balm, some jewelry (like a bracelet to wear for the wedding), a notepad and colored pens/crayons, stickers, sunglasses, and a few other things.  Other things may be included based on each girl’s likes and things to entertain them the day of the wedding.  One likes to take pictures, so I may throw a disposable camera and pic album for her and another likes flowers, so I may put in flower seed packets.

We don’t have a ring bearer, but we do have a 10 year old that will be doing some things, and will probably give him a little something.  He likes to dress up and science I believe, so maybe something like buying him a tie and science book.

We have couple other girls helping out too (9 and 19), and I haven’t decided what to get them.  One may like the compact and lip balm, and I think both would appreciate jewelry.

Hope that helps!

@ MyFavorite- I like the ideas for your girls.  I have a 6 year old in mine that would like those things.

I have 2 Ring Bearer nephews (only 2 years old).  I got them soft footballs that say ringbearer.  They both like "BALL" plus they’d play with them for years (or so I hope!).  I’m still going to get them something else.  But right now I’m at a loss for gifts for all my attendants except my bridesmaids.

Sorry I wasn’t much help!

Our flower girl is really young, so I struggled with this also. I eventually ended up asking someone on Etsy to make a felt & button flower bouqet using our wedding colors. It is really cute and I think she’ll be able to keep it and remember she carried those in her aunt’s wedding. Plus, we don’t have to worry about giving her a pricey bouqet. Then I got her a little "sweet pea" necklace, which she’ll probably have to wear when she’s older.

Can you get the girls monogram necklaces?  Or a locket (that’s what my sister got her 7 year old niece at her wedding).  Our nieces will be very young, but I’m thinking necklaces/gold chain that they can grow into.  A single pearl could be cute as well.
