Hi bees. Outside the entrance to my reception I have two tables, one on either side of the door. I really want to make these tables look nice as it’s the first thing my guests will see when they walk in 🙂
I am thinking one table will be the guestbook and gift table… other table maybe framed photos? I’m unsure and drawing a blank! How did you guys decorate accessory tables if you had them? Any ideas of cute tables to add? Thanks!

Our theme was A Midsummer Night’s Dream so on the table we had a scroll for our guest book, some feather pens, 3 different sized glass cloches on gold stands…the contents were items related to the play, bird cage/card box and our engagement pictures in gold branch frames.

soontobemrswaller : Unless you have someone to specifically watch the gift table, I suggest you bring it inside the room. You could still do the guestbook outside, perhaps combine it with escort cards?

We had a guestbook stand, and then a stand on the altar with the Communion elements, we also had a table with photos from our grandparents’ weddings with floral arrangements, and then another table for gifts/cards 🙂

We didn’t do a ton of decoration. The first thing guests saw was our escort card table, and I LOVED how that turned out.
Otherwise, we had the guest “book” area and gift table – both with minimal decoration. We didn’t do any photos or anything like that.

We had a beauty and the beast theme so I put out some related decor and had a card basket, guest book, and pictures of us,
