We had a couple center pieces like the tables had, a card box, and our photo canvas for people to sign as our guest “book.”

I would keep it simple because the purpose is for gifts…I had one of our engagement pictures and a birdcage we used for cards. I put our guestbook on a “welcome” type table in the entrance to the reception space – I didn’t want folks to be crowded trying to drop off gifts and sign the guestbook.

we just put a photo of us and our birdcage for cards. we had our guestbook on a podium somewhere else. it would have gotten buried under gifts if we had left it on the gift table.

I’d just have the card box. You could put a thank you sign on the card box if you’d like.

Ours had a basket that said “CARDS” on it.DH’s sis and hubby also gave us a gift a few days before that was framed, and had our wedding information on it (date, time, place, etc)… so we also put that on the table too. But, it looked like a gift so it was reallt the card basekt that made it stand out.

That’s all we had. Our host cuple just told guests where things could be put.
