“well that sucks” ???

No it doesn’t!  Don’t make the thank you cards all about you.  Thank you cards are all about the gift giver/guest.  Making someone wait so you can send them a picture of you on a thank you card isn’t very gracious.

Nobody will care if you get them simple thank you notes.  Congrats!

LOL just go to the store and buy the prettiest version of pre-made thank yous for those that send gifts early or with a No rsvp. No big deal. They will miss out on the nice ones with the pics, oh well! Too bad for them! 😉

@alditt14:  True story – no gives a crap about the “picture” thank yous. Timelyness is what matters. Sounds like you’re on the right track though

I don’t care for thank yous with wedding pic printed, anyway.  It’s killing two birds with one stone. (Actually, it’s slightly self-serving)  Just thank the person, no pics.  You could print some up with Miss. XXX, and some up with Mr. and Mrs. YYY. Beautiful.  (Or, yes, get the drug store ones.  Which really means Cranes.  Gorgeous.)

Then the PERECT time for the wedding photo is the CHRISTMAS CARD!!!!  I LOVE that!!!

By that I meant some for before wedding, some for after.  (Ideally)
