I purchased the jewelry they will be wearing, which is a set of real pearls.  I’m also giving them a msall bag of more personalized things, something very specific for each one along with a wine glass, bubble bath and candle….so they can relac after the craziness of the wedding!

I bought my girls Kate Spade clutches which can also serve as coin purses or a makeup bag. I hope they like them.

I got each of them a black beaded cardigan to wear in case it gets chilly

and some fall themed goodies from Yankee Candle. Unfortunately, the votive holders I picked sold out so I still need to buy a replacement, but I have the votive candles (spiced orange) and small jar candles (autumn fruit) – the colors of the candles match my wedding colors. 🙂

@nursein10: I bought my girls jewelry to wear for the wedding, a coach clutch (from the outlet), 50-minute facials (by diligently watching groupon for sales), some tropical scented candles (since our wedding is in Key West), a combination makeup kit from Sephora (the kind that has 30+ eyeshadows and 15 or so lip glosses, etc), and a couple fun nailpolish colors.

I bought each girl a Coach wristlet (large wallet for MOH) on sale at the Coach outlet, bracelet from NY&co on sale buy one get one half off, some cute embellished flip flops which they wore at our reception, and a small silver jewelry box engraved with their first name from things remembered.  I put all the gifts in a monogrammed tote bag.  I wanted to go for a bunch of little/inexpensive things instead of one big gift.

I am doing:

1)  2 Tiffany champagne flutes

2)  Clinique mascara and lip gloss (which they can return if they don’t like the color) and a clinique bonus for all of them

3)  Custom flip flops, black with a hot pink gerbera daisy that I made myself!  (The only DIY project I have undertaken!

I’ve been spending some time researching ideas too. Even though my big day is 17 months away, my goal is to start buying things along the way.

The ideas I’ve had so far are these. Keep in mind, I won’t be doing all of these. As much as I love my girls, I don’t have the funds to get them everything!

  • Coach wristlet
  • Spa wrap (not for pictures, just for fun)
  • Gift card for mani/pedi or massage
  • Scentsy warmer with scented wax
  • Flip flops
  • Emergency day-of kit (which would include snacks that they would enjoy)
  • Monogrammed tote bag
  • Robe
  • Make-up kit
  • Picture frame
  • Jewelry
  • A gift card for something that’s not wedding-related
  • Dermalogica products (my sister uses them in her business, so I can get them very reasonable)

We’ll see what we see! I am so excited to start shopping for them, though :-). I kind of want to make me my own version of the gift.

I bought them both earrings for the wedding (they were different and each their style) and paid for their make-up (which included application and $35 worth of products).  We actually bought the groomsmen individual gifts and I felt bad, but my sisters are practical and I guess they’d rather have me pay for make-up then have to pay themselves!

I’m having an etsy seller make custom tote bags for my girls. I wanted something really personalized and special (something that they would use again). I made up this questionnaire about their hobbies and favorites foods and a bunch of questions about their hometowns. From all of that I will have the etsy seller paint up a logo with images of all their favorite things as well as a reminder of home!

I will fill them with losts of girlie things. A pedicure kit from avon, these aromotherapy balls that you put in the shower, etc. Was thinking about some other funky things like plant’s in a can, books and i found these great mugs with emily dickenson quotes on them. i have tons of ideas.

Doing a coach wallet for my Maid/Matron of Honor who is also my sister. she would never buy one for herself, so i’m really excited to give it to her!

I paid for there dresses, two infact cause they didn’t like the first one so first dress cost $300 each and second was $150. I also bought there jewlery which cost $80,

I thought that was enough.

Oh and I paid for their hair and make up approx $200 per girl
