Hi Bees, I have 5 bridesmaids and 1 junior bridesmaid that is 13. I am wondering what to get my girls…I don’t really want to get them matching necklaces or jewelry that they have to wear on the day of because I bought it for them. But I also don’t want to spend a ton of money on each girl either (my limit is about $50-$65 a girl) and I am not sure what I am should get the junior bridesmaid that is 13. I have looked on ETSY and found a lot of matching sets (necklaces, bracelets, bags, etc.). And I hate the idea of flasks or anything else like that. I want to make sure to get them something they could use beyond the day of. I am trying to being orginal to a point with their gifts but it seems like when you associate gifts with bridesmaids, they are always the matchy match stuff. I was thinking of making each of them a little emergency kit for the day of and including a Starbucks card for each of them to get coffee or tea. But beyond that I am lost! LOL So any good ideas out there Bees? Any and all suggestions would be much appreciated! 🙂 Thanks!

Right now I am paying for my 6 girls to get their makeup done for the wedding, and so far thinking about cupcakes, or beach towels, or pay for their hair to get done, or something else. I havent made up my mind or really my budget for each girl. So far Im at $25 each I would like to stay around $65-75 each max.

I think this is always hard to try to get gifts for a group of girls with different tastes. This is what I did and I’m not sure if they loved their gifts: Kate Spade idiom bracelets (they are plain enough and I love kate Spade jewelry), earrings from World Market, Footzyrolls rollable flip flops, reusable bags that fold up (i keep a few in my purse because i always forget to take them in to the grocery store), emergency kit for day of, urban decay eyeshadow palette, lingerie laundry mesh bag… i’m sure i had a few more things in there but I can’t remember them all. I think I tried to buy items that I liked or found useful. I also paid for hair and airbrush makeup.

@anonymous2121: I’m not sure, but I’m thinking right now of getting my girls (5 in total) A pair of Toms each, which would be about $250-300, and we are on a budget, so… I don’t know. If not that I am going to try to make them personalized boxes, maybe different jewelry or different gift cards to places specific to them. Still mulling this all over like you are.
I really like the idea of giving them something a little more than just the day of jewelry.

@anonymous2121: are your shoes matching? If not, what about a gift card for zappos.com? itd save them money and they could pick a pair they wanted and could reuse.
Or a beautiful scarf / pashmina.

@Moosemaybite: I did think of some pashmina scarves that they could use into fall. I have always thought they were pretty! 🙂 I just don’t want too cheesy with their gifts. 🙂

@anonymous2121: I love the Starbucks gift card idea!
I only had 2 girls and spent under $100 on each of them, this is what they were given:
*A cute “I love my Maid of Honor” or “I love my Bridesmaid” Canvas Tote
*A small Kate Spade cosmetic bag in our wedding colors
*A pair of earrings for them to wear the day of (non-matching)
* A lululemon gift card (lululemon is an athletic store- since they are runners)
*A framed photo of the 3 of us from my Bach Party
*some “day of” essentials (listerine strips, tums, lotion)

@anonymous2121: i am doing customized clutches from etsy, i’m getting them each a piece of jewelry that i picked out for each individual girl and a pashmina.

@anonymous2121: Do they have to be matching presents? You could do necklaces, but different ones for each girl.
