Yes, I gave my mom a frame for a wedding picture once we got them developed.

My parents have truly gone above and beyond helping with the wedding so we’re going to take them out to a fancy restaurant. We’ll also probably frame a nice picture from the wedding, but that will be for later.

Unless you are trying to send a very clear “leave us alone” after this message (I’m not judging if that’s the case), then yes do a gift even if they didn’t pay for anything. It’s more about their support over the years than the $$.

@jenjen96:  My parents live in CA where the wedding is and we live in DC which is why they’ve had to help so much.

His mom and her parents are doing the rehearsal dinner, but honestly that’s been a pain in the ass and we’ve planned it, they just paid for it. His dad did use points for our honeymoon hotel stay, but that’s pretty much it. So, we probably won’t get his parents much of anything but maybe something nice to put pictures from the wedding in (they are getting a divorce, so we can’t even send them both out to dinner or something, they have to get separate gifts).

@jenjen96:  we are not accepting any help financially with our wedding, but I do foresee his side helping me out in the weeks leading up to it with set up and prep work.  We will get them something but I’m just not sure what…
