Ok Bees got a real question here!!!
I’m struggling a lot with figuring out what to get my future parents-in-law for a wedding gift because honestly they are major homebodies and never go anywhere or buy anything or have any interests really. I was going to get them a nice picture frame or figure something more personal for them and my fiance’s grandmother.
I was talking to my mom about it and she told me there is no reason to buy his parents and grandma and her something for the wedding because that is just silly! We are tight for cash and I am full-time graduate student so we really dont a lot of money to spend so she said we understand and I don’t need anything.
So what should I do? I feel like a jerk about not giving them anything but there really isn’t anything they would want or care for. My mom would be easy to buy for but his side is another story. They haven’t been the greatest during this process and I have had to pay a lot out of my own pocket for them, for example his father won’t rent a tux (because he is so cheap) so he was going to wear an incredibly old suit he hasn’t worn in years. So I’m paying for his tux : /
Any positive advice will be welcomed : )
