I am thinking of getting gifts for all the parent’s, but haven’t found anything yet! My Sister in Law gave the hankerchiefs that I wanted to do so I have to come up with something else. Anyone have a moving idea??

We gave them framed formal photos from the wedding!

I am also doing handkerchiefs for both sides of the family.
However, for my parents and grandparents I am also giving them a framed photo of me (from the engagement shoot) holding a chalkboard that says “Always your little girl” 🙂

@reverettaz1203: i got my mom a white gold necklace with a butterfly charm that had a diamond in the middle and I also got her a charm made through etsy.com that had a picture of my dad and me so she can clip it on her corsage for when she walked me down the aisle
For my Mother-In-Law I got her a sterling siler bracelet from Pandors
For my Father-In-Law we got him a watch box from Things Remembered…he has quite a feq watches and just leaves them on top of his dresser so the blx was perfect for storing them

We got a dual frame and framed our invitation on one side and left a space for our wedding photo on the other side (we used an e-photo for a stand in until we had the real deal!).

We are doing a joint gift for my Future Mother-In-Law amd Future Father-In-Law, which will be a restaurant gift card. For my mom, instead of getting her something, since she doesn’t need another piece of jewellery, I’m going to treat her to a manicure/pedicure because she never gets them. For my dad, I’m going to get him a double frame, and put one photo of us when I was a kid, and when it comes give him a photo of our first dance.

- Wedding: February 2013 - Mansion House at the MD Zoo
We gave our dads tie bars and moms necklaces. I found everything on etsy. Father-In-Law and SFIL (and DH) got different tie bars made of exotic hard woods, my dad got a tie bar with a typewriter key with his initial (he is a writer). We gave my mom a necklace that is a leaf dipped in metal so you see all the veins, and his mom a necklace with gold concentric rings that sort of looked like tree rings. (We also had an unofficial wood/tree thime thing going in our wedding.) I think we spent about $50 per person, and everyone loved them and still wears them.

@caiteliz23: Oh! Also, I am treating my mom, grandma, and Mother-In-Law to hair and makeup the day of the wedding. I gave my Mother-In-Law a giftcard to get her nails done for Christmas and will probably do the same with my mom. We will also honor them by giving them a flower during the ceremony. I want them to feel special too 🙂
