We got each of our parents adorable plates from etsy. The plate for my parents begins with a thank you from me, then a thank you from my FH and theN ends with our wedding info. The same for the Father-In-Law but opposite.

So I guess they were from both of us together for both.

I would suggest something from both of you. We got our parents a happy everything plate with a bride & groom attachment that had our names & date on it. It was just a little thank you keepsake. We got them the square tan & white plate.

For those of you that aren’t familiar with these, the plates have velcro on the top of them & you can switch out the attachments. I couldn’t find a picture of the bride & groom on a tan & white square plate, but here’s a picture of a rainbow colored round one.

They have a lot of different attachments.  I figured we could get them different ones for holidays & birthdays!

The big ones can be pretty expensive,  but the smaller ones are a decent thank you gift price.

Hope this helps.

I’d think you’d get a gift for each of them from you as a couple.

Swebs14:  Peanut-Sue:  I hadn’t thought of plates before; they would be fantastic for my mum and FMIL! Which etsy stores did you get them from, ladies??
