- Wedding: August 2018
who else? I’ve already bought gifts for my BMs, Fiance is in charge of getting gifts for his Groomsmen. We’re planning on giving our parents appreciation bouquets at the ceremony and later giving them a mini parent photo album of our wedding. We’re also getting our ring bearer, officiant and volunteer wedding coordinator something nice. We have so many people helping us with our wedding and would like to recognize them, but budget wise, we can’t afford to give super nice gifts to everyone.
Do people typically get gifts for wedding helpers? I’m thinking about our ushers, guest book attendants, ceremony readers, people who help with audio/visual (our friend is running the ipod thing and others are doing performing a couple songs at the ceremony). What about for siblings that are not a part of the bridal party but are involved as ushers/guestbook/gift attendants? We’d like to thank them for their help, but don’t know what is appropriate. I’ve helped out at weddings before, but was not gifted or thanked with a card, so I’m not sure what’s "right." Your thoughts?
