I am getting them a tote bag with their initials and a cute design (really just to hold the other stuff) a lightweight robe with a pretty floral pattern made custom to their size, a book they would each like (different for each one), and a Camelbak water bottle (Each a different color, I love these and the girls all drink a lot of water). I’ll probably put some treats (healthy and not) in the bags to snack on for the weekend too. Total was $56 per girl.

This all needed to be ordered in advance though, it’s a little late for you – I used Etsy & vistaprint for the custom stuff, Amazon for the books and bottles.

You could check Red Envelope and Amazon. Or just go to the small and shop like it is their birthdays. You don’t have to get them all the same thing.

How many girls do you have and what is your budget?

I think personal Bridesmaid or Best Man gifts would always be the best option. Perfume, scarves, jewelry, a clutch – choose things that you know each girl would like. I’d much rather get something useful over anything on Red Envelope!

@hisprettygirl:  Red Envelope sells all those sorts of things. Red Envelope isn’t like a “Things Remembered” store, they sell all sorts of classy neat/unique items.

So far for my bridesmaids i have gotten them re-usable shopping bags (just to hold their gifts, i thought they were WAY better then a gift bag), make-up bags that i am going to monogram, earring and bracelet sets for the big day (in colors that they love, so they can wear them again) and sunglasses … mostly for pictures, but also because i thought they were cute and that they would like them! I still want to get them flip flops, and something a bit more personal. So far i have spent 27 dollars each on them!

I bought all of their Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses and gave them a necklace each. 2 of my 5 girls would not have been able to afford to buy their dress on their own so I did not want them to feel awkward so I just paid for them all and called it a gift.

I’m giving my girls a coach wristlet stuffed with gift certificates (sephora for all and VS for my MOH), a pair of earrings I made custom for each girl inside a macaron coin purse, and a small emergency kit.  My girls are coming in from out of town so I didn’t want to gift them anything too bulky that they’d have to pack.  They’re staying with me and I let them use shoes and dresses they already had, plus no bachelorette parties/showers.

wristlets $42

coin purses $5 (made by me)

earrings $0 (already had materials left over from making the bridal necklace)

Sephora gift certs $25 each

VS gift card $50

I have been in enough weddings and so I wanted to get my girls fun things.  My lucky ladies are getting:

A tote with their name on it.  Inside the tote they will find:

A makeup bag with their initial on it – I made a tag that said “Wedding Day Survival Kit” and on the back of it I put “Thanks for being my bridesmaid – I couldn’t have survived without you”.  I filled the makeup bag with: a nail file, bandaids, a trial sizes of mouthwash, lotion, hairspray and deoderant

A bottle of delicious Moscato wine (my one bridesmaid doesn’t drink so I got her a bag of “Oh My Chai” tea mix from Tastefully Simple)

A “Willow Tree” figurine.  Each girl got a different one.  I’m going to attach their thank you note to this gift and explain why I choose that specific one (for example my one friend doesn’t give a crap about what people think – so I choose “Free Spirit” for her).

Good luck finding your girls’ gifts and have fun!  Think outside the box and try to find something unique for each if you can.
