Yes, we’re getting gifts for both sets of parents.  The moms are getting ring holder necklaces and the dads are getting personalized handkerchiefs

I got them a gift together from Your Picture Story on Etsy. It has a frame and my own message to them on it. They are really cool and have some good ideas if you don’t know what to write. It is a really great product, and I highly recommend it.

The only thing I got them individually is I got my mom a little thing of tissues, lol. She likes zebra, and I found zebra tissues for her to use at the wedding.

I had my Fiance pick out a gift for his parents. We went separate on the gifts for our parents (so I didn’t include myself in his gift for his parents and vise versa)

We are but we’re having trouble. I think we are going to take his parents out to a fancy restaurant in NYC. We may bring mine as well, not sure yet- my parents are pickier/less social than his so they’re harder.

I wanted to get my mom something extra because she has helped soo much and has allowed me to have everything I wanted (She’s paying for a ton of it). I am leaning towards a Michelle watch but I think I have to wait till the Nordstrom sale in July when they are not so crazy expensive!

We also thought about sending them away somewhere for a weekend but we coudln’t really find a decnet destination that wasn’t a fortune.

@Seaside:  If you are still considering sending them somewhere for a weekend, I suggest using Priceline – Name Your Own Price. We have done this many times for our parents for birthday, anniversary, etc. gifts and they love it. We manage to get a great hotel at a reasonable price
