Some of the ladies in our family are going above and beyond to help with this wedding (like aunts who are baking things for the dessert bar and cooking the rehersal dinner) and I would like to get them something to thank them for their help. Our budget is small, like everyone’s seems to be in the final weeks before a wedding. What do you think would be an appropriate gift? The easy option is a hand-written card and a gift certificate, but is that too impersonal? What would you suggest?

@Fanciful: I went on ebay and found a couple lots of vintage hankies (lucked out and really found great prices there vs etsy) and wrote a card for the bridesmaids/moms/aunts/cousins. I wish I could have done a few more but I am printer cursed and had MAJOR issues and of COURSE I left this til the night before the wedding because I didn’t want to get over emotional. I still get thanked – its a keepsake and a piece of your heart via words of thanks for their help getting you to the front of the church blissed out and surrounded by love …. I prolly spent 30 dollars for more than 30 hankies.. and every one of them were appreciated.
