Books, books, books. As always. Probably some new clothes, maybe a tie for the wedding if he ever decides what he wants.

I bought tickets to see Book of Mormon (popular gift this year!!); we’ll have to travel for that, so the airfare and hotel will be his birthday gift. I’m also gifting tickets to my sister and inviting some other friends (I bought tickets for everyone but most are paying me back, I’m not rich) but surprising him with those other guests. There will be a surprise of 8 people! He’ll think it’s just me, him and my sister going. I’m excited!!! Already saw the show once, when it was in Previews, and it was brilliant !

I bought him tickets to see a symphony orchestra perform music from Final Fantasy 🙂 he’s a nerd (I suppose I am a little too) so we’re both super excited to see the show in two weeks (after exams, yesssssss!).

I don’t think guys are hard to buy for at all. They usually tell you what they want/need. Most women on the other hand just say “oh surprise me” (but they don’t really mean that!)hint give micro hints that go whhooosh! Right over the noggin xD

My Fiance wants to legally change his first name and get a tattoo so that what I’m going to get him ^-^

Fiance and I decided since we’re spending so much money on our wedding (anyone else?) that we’re going to get each other practical gifts this year. His exact words were “the rule is you have to be able to use it every day” I’m certain I could use a pair of diamond earrings every day ;).. But I’ll be getting him some Under Armour to go under his uniform, the socks that he loves, $$pricey minimalist running shoes, a new pair of jeans, a few other things he’d never buy for himself and depending on the budget, something fun like maybe some symphony tickets or a rafting trip, etc..

Fiance is an avid guitar player, so I got him personalized guitar picks off of Etsy. I also plan on getting either cuff links or something else realated to golf (club covers?) closer to the wedding date.

Ive always loooved gift giving. I make it a point to make notes, etc. when my fam/friends/huney say they’d like something. For example, last year he got a keurig, video games and a grill with all the fun accessories. Plus a stocking with little odds and ends (mens lotion, socks (because youve got to), candy he likes, new shirts).

This year? I’m going to do something similar but its going to be the first Christmas we spend together with my family, and we are driving about 3k miles round trip to go see them. Which means things need to be a tad bit smaller. Im thinking a new laptop though, or an ipad (possibly the new microsoft tablet.) His little laptop just crapped out on him and hes always stealing mine and also stealing my cell to play games. Only problem is I am a broke college girl.. last year I got him a bunch of great gifts b/c I had been working but now not so much, my family also loves gift giving so they participated and helped out too.

I’ve been saying for a couple years that I’d like us to have a PS3, so maybe I’ll bite the bullet and get him that! We don’t have a great internet connection at the moment, but our lease is up in January and I’m determined to move… so when we do, I can get a good internet set up going and then we’ll be sweet!

If I don’t get him the PS3… I have no freakin’ idea. The man is the WORST person I’ve ever had to buy for.

FI’s birthday is next weekend. I’m buying him a new rashguard, which he really needs. I also plan on making him a cake, then taking him away for the weekend. We’re both bigger on experiences/travel than physical stuff. We have enough of that, anyway. I’ll probably go a similar route for Christmas.

He made an off handed comment that he thought it would be funny to take christmas pictures with ugly christmas sweaters…. I have to start searching now. 😛

I plan on getting him a nice watch. It’s something I know he wants and would love.
