I can’t find a girdle that works perfect for me, my problem area is my stomach( just had a baby 4 months ago and I still have a pouch). I tried duct tape today and it looked perfect. You couldn’t see anything. I was wondering if you all know any good brands that would help just as good as it did because duct tape is so uncomfortable. I have already tried spanx and a couple others.

If taping works, instead of duct tape, try getting some non-stretchy, breathable athletic/sports tape.

@Ivorybuttons: That is a great idea! Like when someone sprains their ankle people use ace bandage! That would probably work!
Another thing you could try is duct tape on top of a clothing item instead of directly on the skin. For example if you got spanx but used the duct tape over it for extra control.

@catrina13:right idea, but not ace bandage exactly: they don’t breathe and the glue is really irritating to skin.
Look for real athletic tape from a physio or athletic therapist. The kind that athletes use to stabilize joints day-in, day-out. It’s designed to be way better for your skin, plus it will offer firmer support.

I bought a Rago 21 open bottom girdle. It is surprisingly comfortable. Plus, Rago sells an extra long girdle that is 19 inches. It looks stunning under my dress.

@MrsKittyMt: Do you think you could tell underneath an A-line dress?
