Clara, LOVE it
Clara, LOVE it
I voted for Alyssa because that’s my middle name 🙂 I also ADORE Camryn. I love the name so much that I’m thinking Cameron for a boy, Camryn for a girl so I get the name either way.
I voted Elisa, but I also love Clara and Alexandra!
Hi there lovely! As a British bee my favourite names are Summer (my daughters name), emelia, Elsa, olivia. i quite like primrose for a middle name as well but my OH isn’t that keen xx
I tend to like classic names best. I like Clara and Alexandra best out of the ones you listed.
I think Clara and Alexandra are the most classic, so I’d go with those. The others (except maybe Elisa) are perhaps a little “yooneek” or trendy.
I like clara and Alexandra from your list.
You have a more classical approach to names, which I really like. The “yoonique” camps don’t seem entirely aware that they’re setting their kids up for lifelong difficulties in social situations and in job applications.
My favorites of your selections are Alyssa, Clara (this name reached its peak around the turn of the 20th century, which is not a bad thing; many ‘old’ names, like Henry, Cora, etc., are coming back). Alexandra’s all right.
I’m not too keen on Addison (this name is actually related to last names like Adkins, Atkinson, etc., meaning “Son of Adam” — the name is actually both masculine and feminine, but has become so popular in part because of its similarity to “Madison”). This is also a very popular name right now — #14 — which can be a concern for many parents. I don’t like the trend of first-names-that-sound-like-last-names for kids, and in this case, it is a name with firmly masculine roots.
Camryn’s all right.
Addison just sounds like you left the “M” off of the real name. I voted for Elisa.
I voted for Alexandra (one of my current faves – Alexandra and Alexander are both on our list, so either way there’s a big likelihood we’ll have a child with one of those variants), but I also love Clara. I’m not crazy about any of the others, but I don’t hate them either (although I do agree that Addison is a bit too trendy).
Alexandra is my favorite out of the options, although I personally like Alexandria more.
Addison and Camryn are way too trendy, plus I hate last-name-as-first-name unisex names.
I like Alyssa, Clara, and Alexandra.
I don’t know how to pronounce Elisa – is it like Alyssa, Eliza, or Eh-LEE-sah?
