We’ll be TTC as soon as we get married next year, and we were talking names. We agreeed on a boys name, but the girls name we’ve got two we like. Chances are we’ll keep our options open till we actually you know, get pregnant and have the baby and all that, but whatever.
Which name combo do you like better?
Peyton Teresa M____
Lennon Teresa M____

I hate to be this person, but I don’t like either of the names. Lennon reminds me of John Lennon (of the Beatles), and Peyton reminds me of Peyton Manning (QB for the Denver Broncos). Do you have any other less masculine names in your arsenal? I do like the name Teresa.

Lennon is after John Lennon lol. I’m a musican, and The Beatles have a huge influence in my musical style. I really like the way they both sound.
We aren’t football people, and I’ve never heard Peyton as a masculine name, it’s always seemed very feminine to me! I didn’t know there were males with that name
FWIW, Lennon is my choice, Peyton is my FI’s choice. Teresa is our middle name, no matter what.

I would think that they were boy names too, but Peyton sounds more feminine. Would like Lennon for a boy. Teresa is lovely.

that’s so weird to hear, because to me Lennon sounds so feminine lol.
My Fiance will be happy to hear that more people prefer Peyton.
Like I said, we’re not TTC for a year or so, but it’s nice to get opinions!

Sorry but I don’t like either as well:(

I love Lennon as a first name. I like it for a boy or a girl, not quite sure whch gender I like it more for.

I do think Lennon is a cool name but kinda hippie and trendy. Is sounding hippie and misician’s child-esque and being trendy what you after? Then yes cool.
If I were to make a reference to the Beatles, I would choose some names from their songs. Like Sady/ Sadie or Lucy, or Eleanor, or YOKO!!!
Sadie Teresa, Lucy Teresa, Eleanor Teresa, I think all sound lovely!

Sorry, but I dont like either of them either. Though of the two, I’d have to go with Peyton.
Side note, Teresa is my moms name.

+1 to not liking either. Try to think of the child. Some names make it easy to get picked on.

I love both first names… but for boys. Sorry :/

I actually know 2 little boys named Peyton. .. its pretty trendy right now
Post # 14
They are both names I’ve only ever seen given to boys. But Teresa is lovely!

don’t feel sorry for disliking either name! I’m a random person on the internet, your opinions don’t cause me pain or grief. If I didn’t want opinions i wouldnt have asked.

I think Peyton is an awesome girls name ( I am a one tree hill fan and that was one of the female lead characteres names). Not so keen on Lennon. I can just imagine everyone calling her Lenny for short. I love the unisex names like alex, jordan, ashley, blair, blake for girls
