That’s how we got the first girl’s name 😂 I wanted a short list for both the boy names and girl names, he wouldn’t discuss any other boys names, we came up with a short list of girls names, and since he wouldn’t budge, we just agreed that if we have a girl, I get the final decision.

what is he suggesting this time around for girls names?

SeaOfLove : Too many pages for me to scroll through but how about Harlow, Isabel, Penelope, Haven, Thea (I know it ends with an “a”), Hadley, Bethany, Florence.
Also, since Castor was 100% your husband’s idea — why does he get veto power over the girl names you’re partial to? That doesn’t make any sense. Shouldn’t you be able to have the say in this name? Especially since a lot of the ones on your list/suggested here are not nearly as out there as the name Castor.

If I hated Castor and would be completely against naming my kid that, I would veto it and my husband would be okay with that. But I like it and he loves it. I don’t see the need in starting from scratch if he loves it that much.
The name we chose for our daughter I loved and he liked. I’m okay with our dynamic. It works for us. We’re not pregnant yet, so this is just for fun at this point. If we had a few months left and no girl’s name, then we would have to start talking about compromise.
