We of course, had many boy names already picked out, but much to our surprise we are having a little girl! I like unique names, but not too different. That’s where we came up with Adley or Adleigh. First thoughts when hearing it? The middle name will definitely be Jean, a family tradition. I like other names too like Addison and Emerson, but our last name ends in “son” so it may be too much.

I really like it and I prefer the “Adley” spelling!

It definitely borders on trendy, but it’s cute.

What about Hadley? I think they’re prounouced the same and Hadley is probably how people would mispell Adley.

I think it sounds like a mix of Addison and Ashley. Not really my style:(
ETA:@PinkMagnolia Now that you bring up Hadley, that might be what sounds off to me, that it is so similar.

I actually really like Adleigh! (hopefully pronounced Ad-lay) She might get some questions about whether she is misspelling Ashley though.

I think Hadley is a good compromise. I really don’t care for “lee” names that are spelled “leigh”. Just seems like too much work.

I think it’s cute. My mind instantly goes to Hadley. And I would do the Adley spelling, otherwise it would be spelled wrong her entire life.
Congrats on team pink!

I thought of Hadley before, but that’s out because I have a niece Hailey, and its too similar for me

I like it, but spelled Adley. I’m an Ashley, so I’m biased ;o)

I like it, but names starting with ad are super trendy right now. If that doesn’t bother you, then it’s perfect!

I like it! Haven’t heard it before, so that makes me like it even more.

Co worker has an Adley. I think it’s nice
