They’re both nice! I know that doesn’t help you make a decision though.

tawnypOp:  Yep, like others said, these are both nice names. Sorry. LOL!!

Do either of them have special meaning to you, or do you have a certain middle name in mind? Might help people come up with more helpful opinions.

Love Cora! I wanted to use it for our daughter but my husband veto’d.

tawnypOp:  Yay finally a thread where I’m not like, “oh god, please no!”

    I like both!

I’m voting Cora, because FI’s sister’s name is Coralie, and I think it’s such a pretty name.

I think age has a great deal to do with the images that one associates with certain names.  As I am older than most of the bees, I tend to associate the name “Cora” with someone’s grandmother. I think of Mia as a little girl or a young woman. So, because of that, I chose Mia, even though both are beautiful names. I should add that, since I am an avid fan of Downton Abbey, I have a better impression of the name Cora than I did several years ago.

Cora seems like an older name so I voted for Mia. So cute!!

I love both but voted for Mia because it reminds me of a little girl I know – Mia Claire :]

tawnypOp:  The name Cora is lovely, I feel like it is less commonly used, which I think is an added bonus! 🙂

I love Mia and I know a few people, who named their daughter Mia (but not in the USA). Both names are actually very popular in Germany, where I am from;)
