I think age has a great deal to do with the images that one associates with certain names.  As I am older than most of the bees, I tend to associate the name “Cora” with someone’s grandmother. I think of Mia as a little girl or a young woman. So, because of that, I chose Mia, even though both are beautiful names. I should add that, since I am an avid fan of Downton Abbey, I have a better impression of the name Cora than I did several years ago.

I love Mia and I know a few people, who named their daughter Mia (but not in the USA). Both names are actually very popular in Germany, where I am from;)
